Descent of the Vallée Blanche, a unique experience to live

La Descent of the Vallée Blanche can be carried out depending on the year from mid-December to the end of April but this depends heavily on snow conditions. Several downhill routes in the Vallée Blanche are possible:

The Vallée Blanche via the Grand Envers: steeper slopes

Before embarking on this spectacular adventure, it seemed important to us to mention a few points. In addition, for safety reasons, the presence of a mountain professional is highly recommended.

The required level of skiing: this high mountain itinerary is neither marked, nor secured nor supervised. You must at least know how to ski on red or even black slopes. However, several factors can reduce your technical and physical abilities (temperatures, wind, wind, fog, cold, different types of snow, edges, glacier traps: hidden crevasses, fragile snow bridges...)

The descent of the Vallée Blanche requires good control of your speed and trajectory and good physical fitness. The presence of a mountain professional is highly recommended.
