Access to Step into the Void

Departing from Chamonix, take the cable car to the stop of Map of the Aiguille at an altitude of 2317 meters then the second section of the cable car to the summit station. In the large Aiguille du Midi complex, head to the elevator leading to the upper platform. Expect a waiting time of around 30 minutes during high season. So, plan your departure fairly early in the morning from Chamonix in order to avoid a long waiting time.
