It is in the heart of the world capital of mountaineering, that Temmos Hotels have chosen to share with their customers the white gold that has fallen in recent days.
A special program to start the ski season gently has been put together in partnership with the downhill world champion, Marion Rolland! From January 21 to 24, free of charge and upon simple registration, the Temmos hotel group and Marion Rolland invite you to 4 days dedicated to sport.
Ce Ski weekend in Chamonix is an opportunity to discover the village dressed in its white coat, to share short moments of sport with a champion and to receive sports and health advice, all while still enjoying your vacation!
A coach: Marion ROLLAND, world ski champion! Originally from Les 2 Alpes, she made her first traces shortly after her first steps, at the age of 1 and a half. She joined the French Alpine Skiing Team in 1999. That same year she achieved an exceptional hat-trick at the Youth Olympic Games in Slovakia, where she was among the best in the world by winning gold in Super-G, silver in Giant and Bronze in Slalom! Over the seasons, Marion climbed up the World Cup rankings, especially in Downhill where she ranked 6th in the world at the end of the 2012 season. And it was on February 10, 2013 that she was crowned World Downhill Champion on the Schladming track: Marion, with bib number 22, ran the perfect race after all her main competitors for the title had passed. Marion ended her career in January 2015.
A tailor-made program...
During this Ski weekend in Chamonix, at least one activity is planned every day, supervised and led by Marion Rolland*:
- Thursday, January 21 at 18:00: A welcome drink is planned, as well as a presentation of the “Champion Break” week, in a friendly moment of exchange with the downhill world champion, and coach of the week!
- Friday, January 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.: Typical muscular alarm, ski special. Then departure at 9:30am for a ski session
- Saturday January 23 at 9:30am departure for a ski session, then from 5 pm to 5:45pm “stretching” stretching session.
- Sunday January 24 at 9:30am, departure for a ski session.
Conditions: Reservation required at the reception for ski sessions with Marion: 10-12 people maximum. Registration is not mandatory for the muscular awakening and the stretching session, however a maximum of 20 people has been set.
(*) No one is required to follow the program in its entirety, it is possible to choose to participate in only one activity.
The base camp: Le Refuge des Aiglons****
Epi-center of this week Sport-Health, the hotel Le Refuge des Aiglons will also be in the colors of Ski weekend in Chamonix. It will be possible to recharge your batteries in your 300m² spa, (the largest in Chamonix) which includes a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, fitness room, multi-sensory showers, treatment rooms...
A few minutes walk from the city center and adjacent to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, the hotel les Aiglons is one of the first establishments to have broken the traditional codes of mountain hotels. Recently renovated, the hotel has been entirely open to the outside, whether it is its terrace with its incredible view of Mont-Blanc or its Nordic pool (outdoor pool heated all year round with wood pellets).
