Village Vacances Grandeur Nature

Chamonix, in the Alps, at the foot of Mont-Blanc, is the world capital of high mountain sports. Highly appreciated for its unique panorama and its must-see places to discover, the station is one of the oldest and most mythical in France.

The Valley, which in addition to Chamonix, includes Servoz, Les Houches, Les Houches, Vallorcine and Argentière has been able to diversify over time, to appeal to as many people as possible and to offer a large number of summer and winter activities.

After its great success in summer 2020, the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley is once again offering Le Village Vacances Grandeur Nature for summer 2021, from July 12 to August 27.

What is Le Village Vacances Grandeur Nature?

From July 12 to August 27, 2021, anyone who has booked a stay of at least 3 nights in the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley (hotel, campsite, vacation center, furnished rental...) will have access from Monday to Friday to a selection of activities, free of charge!

The whole territory, the Tourist Office and its partners, do their best to offer a wide range of activities and offer a discovery, thrill, or sporting stay with family or friends.

This summer, treat yourself to a vacation in the mountains and enjoy the nature and wide open spaces of the Alps. There are nearly 40 activities on offer for everyone. Whether you want adventure, fun, or culture, you just have to choose!

How does it work?

The Grandeur Nature Holiday Village concerns all people staying in commercial accommodation in the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley, from July 12 to August 27, for a minimum of 3 nights.

This therefore concerns hotels, furnished rentals, cottages, guest rooms, guest rooms, campsites, holiday villages located in Chamonix, Les Houches, Servoz, Argentière and Vallorcine.

For stays of 3 to 4 nights, 2 activities are offered per household. For stays of 5 nights or more, 3 activities will be offered per household.

The offer is valid from Monday to Friday, for one activity per day, alone or for all the people in the household and for different activities during the stay.

For example, if you have access to 3 activities during Le Village Vacances Grandeur Nature, you can choose to participate in a family tree climbing day on Tuesday, plan a day at the children's theme park on Wednesday and finally try the sophrology walk for lovers on Friday, for a moment of relaxation in nature.

Depending on the activities, the reception capacity is more or less restricted. It will therefore be mandatory to book in advance, and this will be possible depending on the places available.

To book, take place no later than the day before the activity at 5 pm, at your accommodation provider, on the Internet via a form from the Tourist Office or upon presentation of your guest card (given by your host), directly at the Tourist Office.

Once you have made your reservation, check the reservation confirmation to find out the meeting place and the equipment you need.

The activities of the Grandeur Nature Holiday Village

During Le Village Vacances Grandeur Nature, every day of the week, more than 35 activities are available. 25 activities during the day and entertainment offered in the evening, to make the fun last.

To fully enjoy the mountains in summer, with family, friends, or alone, there is something for everyone: in the water, on land or in the air, the hardest part will be choosing.

Nature lovers will be delighted to take a “forest bath”, which allows for 3 hours to discover sylvotherapy and to connect with the nature that surrounds them, or a “sophrology walk”, which is a reconnection on the bases of sophrology, with nature, for 1 hour and a half. Or to learn more about the fauna and flora in the mountains, by registering for the activity “biodiversity in the mountains” or “edible plants in the Alps”.

If you want to be quiet, there are “guided tours”, lakes, gorges, in an animal park, or even cultural. You can also have access to “Nordic walking” or “hikes”.

For thrill seekers and athletes, there is “rafting” for a period of 2 hours, “climbing”, “introduction to trail”, “initiation to biathlon” which allows you to learn how to shoot with a laser rifle and a mini-challenge for 1 hour. But also “electric mountain bike outings”, supervised or not, which allow you to discover the valley and mountain trails.

For families, there is a choice! “Orienteering”, “Family Olympiads”, “treasure hunt”, “pony ride”... But that's not all, you can also choose to spend some time at the “theme park” in the valley, to test summer sledding and other attractions. Or you can also decide to do a “laser game” or a “paintball”, for the older ones. Or even to go to the “tree-climbing park”, to gain a little height.

At the end of the day, entertainment is offered in the valley. Outdoor movie sessions, a children's show, an introduction to Zumba... In short, everything you need for an excellent summer vacation in the mountains.
