Long distance hiking at Lac Bleu

Do you like adventure? La Hiking is stimulating for you? Opt for a hike to Lac Bleu lasting about 6 hours there and back. Wear warm clothes even in summer, sunglasses and protect yourself from the sun!

Starting from the Grépon car park, take the direction of Les Alpages de la Blaitière via a forest path rising in short hairpin bends. Continue to the Plan de l'Aiguille until the intersection of two paths at an altitude of 1231 meters. Then, less than a kilometer away at a new junction, continue your ascent to the Plan de l'Aiguille leaving the path that goes down to the Cascade du Dard. Leaving the forest area, take the time to appreciate the magnificent views of the Aiguille du Midi and the Bossons Glacier.

Afterwards, it is a rocky universe that is offered to you with splendid views of the Aiguilles du Grépon, La Blaitière and Grands Charmoz in the Mont-Blanc Massif. After some effort, eat at the Chalet du Plan de l'Aiguille located at an altitude of 2233 meters.

From the chalet, turn right to reach the middle station of the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Follow the signs to Lac Bleu and you will only have a 15-minute walk to reach the beautiful High altitude lake.
