Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is a ski resort situated squarely between France, Switzerland and Italy. It is well-known for its great ski slopes and wonderful views of the mountains. If you’re planning to spend a weekend there and are wondering what to do during your stay, we have a few tips to make your trip a successful one!

Accommodation

There are several options in terms of accommodation for your stay in Chamonix. Some people like to rent a cabin, but we recommend staying in a hotel so everything is taken care of for you! If you book your room ahead of time, staying in a hotel in Chamonix is a reasonably priced option and with very little hassle involved.

Your weekend in Chamonix will fly by, so it’s best to make the most of it by avoiding time-consuming activities such as doing groceries or going to and fro from the slopes to a cabin that isn’t ideally situated.

Our hotel in Chamonix is close to everything you will need during your stay, such as shops for renting skis or snowboards, buying suitable clothing or paying for your daily ski pass. When the day is over, you can come back to the hotel and sit down to a delicious meal. Typical mountain cuisine such as a raclette or a cheese fondue will warm you up after a day up on the mountains in no time!

If you need help finding where to go or how to get to a particular slope, you can also ask for help at the reception, even if you don’t speak French, and our team will be happy to help!
