In the heart of the world's mountaineering capital, Temmos Hotels have chosen to let their guests enjoy the white gold that has fallen over the last few days.

A special program for a gentle start to the ski season has been devised in partnership with downhill world champion Marion Rolland! From January 21 to 24, free of charge and with simple registration, the Temmos hotel group and Marion Rolland invite you to 4 days dedicated to sport.

This ski weekend in Chamonix is an opportunity to discover the village decked out in its white coat, to share a few sporting moments with a champion and to receive advice on sport and health, all while still enjoying your vacation!

A coach: Marion ROLLAND, world champion skier Originally from Les 2 Alpes, she made her first tracks shortly after taking her first steps, at the age of 1 and a half. She joined the French Alpine Ski Team in 1999. That same year, she completed an exceptional hat-trick of victories at the Youth Olympic Games in Slovakia, where she ranked among the world's best, winning gold in Super-G, silver in Giant Slalom and bronze in Slalom! As the seasons went by, Marion climbed up the World Cup rankings, particularly in Downhill, where she was ranked 6th in the world at the end of the 2012 season. And it was on February 10, 2013 that she was crowned World Downhill Champion on the Schladming piste: Marion, wearing bib 22, completed the perfect race after all her main title rivals had passed. Marion ended her career in January 2015.

A tailor-made program...

During this ski weekend in Chamonixat least one activity is planned each day, supervised and led by Marion Rolland * :

  •  Thursday, January 21 at 6:00 p.m.: A welcome drink and a presentation of the "Champion Break" week, in a friendly chat with the downhill world champion and coach for the week!
  •  Friday, January 22, 8:00 to 8:30am: Typical ski wake-up call. Then departure at 9:30 a.m. for a ski session
  •  Saturday January 23 at 9:30am for a skiing session, followed by a stretching session from 5pm to 5:45pm.
  •  Sunday January 24 at 9:30am, departure for a ski session.

Conditions: Booking required at reception for ski sessions with Marion: 10-12 people maximum. Registration is not compulsory for the muscular awakening and stretching sessions, but a maximum of 20 people has been set.

(*) No one is obliged to follow the program in its entirety; it is possible to choose to take part in just one activity.

Base camp: Le Refuge des Aiglons****

As the epi-center of this Sport-Health week, the Le Refuge des aiglons hotel will also be decked out in the colors of the Chamonix ski weekend. Guests will be able to recharge their batteries in the 300m² spa(the largest in Chamonix), which features a jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, fitness room, multi-sensory showers, treatment rooms...

Just a few minutes' walk from the town center and adjacent to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, the les Aiglons hotel was one of the first establishments to break with the traditional codes of mountain hotels. Recently renovated, the hotel has been completely opened up to the outside world, from the terrace with its incredible view of Mont Blanc to the Nordic pool (heated year-round with wood pellets). Its contemporary decor blends glass, light and warm colors, making this 107-room hotel the ideal base camp for summer and winter guests FAMILY .
