Situated at an altitude of 1000 metres, the course was designed by American architect Robert Trent Jones Senior. It is also renowned as one of the most beautiful mountain courses in France.
While we tend to think of a mountain golf course as one with reliefs that complicate the game, this is not the case here, as Robert Trent Jones Senior has created a totally flat itinerary.
You'll discover an 18-hole course nestled between the Aiguilles Rouges and Mont-Blanc ranges, an itinerary that's both technical and subtle thanks to the presence of bunkers and water obstacles.
Reviews here are unanimous: the pleasure of the game goes hand in hand with the pleasure of the eyes, since you only have to lift your head to get an incredible view of the relief.
Equip yourself with your club and balls and simply enjoy the most enchanting of settings for a sport whose gentle nature blends perfectly with the mountain environment.
Chamonix golf facilities
The Chamonix Golf Club also boasts a practice facility including a 32-station driving range (14 of which are covered), 2 putting greens and a pitching green.
For private lessons or internships, four independent teachers are available.
