Located just opposite Mont Blanc, the Brévent - la Flégère ski area is a must-see among ski resorts, thanks to its geographical position, its southern exposure which means sun all year round, and its slopes which cater for all levels of skier. Close to the resort, you'll find easy runs suitable even for children, while closer to the summit you'll find runs reserved for more experienced skiers, as well as off-piste for those who prefer to invent their own routes.

The resort comprises two villages, Brévent and Flégère, each within cable car range of Chamonix: to get to Brévent from Chamonix, simply take a gondola to Planpraz, then take the cable car to Brévent, at an altitude of 2,525 meters. To get to Flégère from Chamonix, all you have to do is take another gondola to the village of Les Praz, and from there take the cable car over the Golf de Chamonix to the Flégère site, at 1,877 meters.

Accommodation made easy

For easy access to the two villages, each with its own access to the Brévent - La Flégère ski area, the easiest way is to find a residence in Chamonix, where you'll find the Hotel Les Aiglons, which will welcome you at any time of year and guarantee you comfortable accommodation, services tailored to your needs and, in general, an all-inclusive stay in Chamonix for as long as you want.

During the school vacations, the Les Aiglons hotel in Chamonix offers age-appropriate facilities for children, including a children's library and a child-friendly spa. There's even an escape game for families who want to play for an hour before skiing again in one of Chamonix's surrounding ski areas.

Le domaine Brévent - La Flégère

The Brévent - La Flégère ski area is open from December 9 to April 22 each year, with a peak season from December 23 to April 16, when ski area prices are higher. However, for those who want to spend a whole week in the mountains, we offer 6-day ski passes during this period. It will cost you €258 for an adult/6 days, compared with €51.50 for a single day and €41.20 for a day outside this period.

On the Brévent - La Flégère ski area, you'll find 56 kilometers of piste divided into 32 runs, plus a snowpark to keep jumping and thrill-seekers happy.

On the Flégère side, you'll also find the start of some great hikes leading to magnificent lakes in the middle of the mountains. Here you'll see the flora and fauna of the mid-mountain region, which is why dogs are not allowed. These hikes are open to the public from July 14 to November 4, after which the trails become too snowy to guarantee total safety for hikers.

For hikes, you can take advantage of individual rates of €29, reduced for children aged 14 and under, as well as family packages for 2 adults and 2 children at €90, with a free pass for the3rd,4th and5th children in the family.

So come and put your things down at the Les Aiglons hotel in Chamonix and enjoy the magnificent Brévent - La Flégère ski area from July 14 to November 4 for hiking, or from December 9 to April 22 for skiing!
