Welcoming you at the Chamonix Tourism Office

Chamonix is a cosmopolitan high mountain town, so reception at the tourism office is available in nine languages including Swedish, Dutch, and sign language.

Are you looking for a hotel during an impromptu stopover? Our staff will take care of your last-minute reservation! Moreover, Le Refuge des Aiglons will offer you a 4-star service in a trendy and friendly place.

Ideally located opposite the Place du Triangle de l’Amitié, the tourism office is well served by public transport. By bus, get off at the Chamonix Centre stop or take the Aiguille du Midi train stop. Coming by car? The Saint-Michel and Outa car parks are nearby. With a spacious reception area, a wide range of documentation in seven languages is at your disposal.

Services and amenities at the tourism office

There is free wifi connection and a wifi area with chairs and tables. Feel free to make use of the deckchairs outside the tourism office. Are your children getting impatient? Don’t worry! Our tourism office has set up a children’s area where your little ones will not get bored, even when it is very busy. If you have a pet, it is also welcome.

Take a look in the shop for your travel souvenirs or trail maps. Even if you have your hiking GPS or a well-defined Mont Blanc ascension route in mind, a hiking map is always useful! You will also find posters, a small bookshop and a photocopy/printing service. Take advantage of the ticket office to buy tickets for excursions, shows, matches and other visits. We also sell fishing permits.
